Nubia Earth Martin is a Global Midwife by calling, who holds a calabash of Knowledge, wisdom and understanding as a Re-Birth Worker, and founder of a community-based non-profit organization, Birth from The Earth Inc. Nubia describes herself as a “woman of two waters”, creating spaces for deep seated
healing, and honoring all of the rites of passage, portals, and rituals of life.

In January of 2021, Nubia opened
Earth Groundz, a space that centers healing and wellness, in the heart of Downtown
Yonkers, NY, dedicated to improving birth outcomes for women of color, and toppling
maternal mortality and morbidity rate disparities.
